Retail Business Practitioner
He graduated from IPB, Bogor in 1992, majoring Food Science and Technology. And passed his professional courses from McDonald’s Hamburger University, ILL, USA, in 1995, majoring QSR Operations Management and hold a Bachelor of Hamburgerology degree.
He started his career at McDonald’s as Store Manager. During his services at McDonald’s he was also active as an Instructor of McDonald’s Training Center majoring in People Practices. In 1996, he moved to PSP Food Retail as Training Center Dept. Head. After that he moved again to Carl’s Jr as Operations Manager, and joined his 1st executive training in CA, USA. In 1998 he joined Mail Boxes Etc as Franchise Support Manager. From 1998-2005, He have worked with Carrefour in Indonesia starting as Fresh Product Division Manager. His last position at Carrefour was GM Store. Previously he also active as Redactur of Retail Media Magazine. Now he is working in one of multinational company in retail division.
In Training and Development sector, he used to be a part time lecturer at ALatief Business Institute majoring in micromerchandising and micromarketing. He wrote and published 4 books already; Performance Management, Local Store Marketing, Referensi Teknis Waralaba (Technical Reference of Franchising) and Retail Training Manual.
In 1998 he started SMfranchise with the vision to support the development of retail and franchise industry in Indonesia, by creating an easy access to informations and knowledge. And in 2001 he launch SMfranchise.com as the 1st website of Retailing and Franchising in Indonesia. SMfranchise has been actively a contributor of Retail Media Magazine.
